Not only does it bring Kirk back from the dead, but heals him of terminal radiation poisoning. Does Kirk now inherit all Khan's powers?<br /><br />Also, maybe they'll consider putting radiation suits next to the critical but highly radioactive key component chamber (which apparently responds to percussive maintenance).<br /><br />In the time frame of ST:ID, is it really realistic that a rogue Starfleet element could build a massive battleship (to a size never before seen in Starfleet) in Jovian orbit. Wouldn't that be a bit like a rogue admiral building a secret aircraft carrier somewhere in Minnesota today?<br /><br />I agree with you about the female characters in this movie - they're little more than filler.
